AutoDate: Offset on minute

Postby alblar » Fri Mar 27, 2020 7:50 pm

Dear all
I'm enthustiast to discover BRU for the first time! :D
I'm using it to rename - using the same prefix pattern - pictures and video taken by different cameras (and diffe time settings).

I've found out that my compact-camera was set with 1h and 4 minutes delta with respect to my "zero" camera-phone.

I understood how to use offset setting to modify the hours, but no clue how to set offset on minutes :!:
example:
-original time: 12h40m30s
-desired outcome: 11h36m30s

In attachment the example Image

Do you know some method useful to my purposes :?:

Thank you very much in advance.
Regards
Alberto

Are you speaking of the date as stored on disk, or in exif information within the file itself?

Your image doesn't show up, as you've posted, so, image.

I believe you're wanting the date on disk...

(After having changed the dates using BRU...)
You'll need to know which files you need to act on (your compact-camera files)
Nirsoft's BulkFileChanger
Select the files you want
Drag them into BulkFileChanger
Select them
F6 (Change Time/Attributes)
Modified, select only, Add -64 Minutes
Do it

Done.

Experiment first so you'll have an understanding of what's going on.

Make note of what might or might not happen if a change "crosses" midnight.
Also, unsure if the GMT setting matters?
