Upper case hash

Postby Vn5eOJK » Mon Jun 08, 2020 10:28 pm

I've been using the "<(hash:md5)>" value tag since I became aware of it. I had previously been using other methods to get an MD5 hash into the file name.

All my existing hashes use upper case. It would be nice if there were a one-pass way to add an upper case hash into the name.

Currently I need to configure the options once to add the hash, uncheck that, then go back and set the options for Case(4) to upper case to make the hash upper case, since the Case function is performed before the Add.

Not awful, a bit of a FWP, but still.

Hi, you could use Javascript renaming to add the MD5 hash in uppercase in one pass, but Javascript renaming needs commercial license.
