Additional choice on Special\Change File Timestamps...

I'd like to be able to change "Date taken" in the case of image files (realizing I might still need to "Extract EXIF data" first). Thanks for listening.

Yes please! I created my username here just to say "me too"!

Usage cases for adjusting the "Date Taken" metadata:

1) Twice a year everyone forgets to update their camera's time for daylight savings
2) Just today someone gave me photos with the timestamp off by 12 hours. (AM=PM)

And since I want to sort those person's photos in with my photos, having correct "Date Taken" timestamps would be great!

BRU does not do this, is not intended to do this.

BRU exists to rename file names.
BRU can read EXIF data (or the like) to use that information in the process of renaming files.


But BRU is not made to update file tag information (EXIF or whatnot).
Other dedicated programs do exist to do that.
And you are better of pursuing those avenues.
