New release?

Postby KHL » Thu Apr 16, 2009 3:25 pm

Matt,

sorry for asking but it's some six months after your first/last release has been published. Do you have time for a new one that collects some of the suggestions that have been made during that span?

Here's the list of improvements I personally was asking for:
http://bulkrenameutility.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=430&p=1578#p1578
http://bulkrenameutility.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=560&p=2082#p2082
http://bulkrenameutility.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=561&p=2083#p2083

That was great.

Thanks in advance
Karl-Heinz

Matt,

sorry for being a pain in the ass but I had to learn in my business life that the customer who complains most gets his deliveries faster/earlier than others who don't complain.
So I'm asking again for a new release that may contain some of my previously mentioned improvements.

I hope you find the time to release a new version soon.

Thanks in advance

Matt,

another 2+ months have passed since my last request. No new release available at all, but tons of spam since then.
I'm worrying about active users may retire from our board neither answering questions nor proposing improvements anymore.

Is there actually NO chance to prevent the boards from spam?

Cheers
Karl-Heinz (still #2 in posting, but considering retirement)

Hi,
I have now stopped the SPAM on the forum: I will personally review and activate each new user before the user is allowed to post. It will slow things down.... but the SPAM was just too much otherwise.
Re the new release: it will take a while unfortunately, I have been busy with other things  :) sorry

I'm retiring and resigning from this board!

Postby KHL » Thu Nov 05, 2009 10:00 pm

I'm very sorry for officially announcing my retirement from this community!
We haven't had one single update since an entire year now, and Matt promises to release a new version for a long time, now, but nothing happens except all boards become more and more flooded with spam, so I don't see any way for me to stay active here.

Some other long-time and highly active companions, such as Stefan and Gabriel, seem to have decided so too, as I can't find new posts by them since a few months, so that's it for me, too! It has been a pleasure to help BRU develop with suggestions and bug reports over the past 4.5 years.

Karl-Heinz, now permanently signed off!!

Bye Bye Karl-Heinz,
or meet me at ReNamers forum at den4b.com

I don't know who is "Matt" ?
I only know "Jim",
but anyway... is this mention of an active developed ReNamer is not wanted, then please remove my post.
