Any increase on the 5000 character limit?

Is there any chance of increasing the 5000 character limit on RegEx (1) and Replace (3)?

In one particular .bru, I have a lot of RegEx statements, obviously separated by (?X) each time - so they're taking up four characters again and again. Is there an alternative symbol that has no special meaning in RegEx that could be used, e.g. a colon? Although, you may then be limited when you want to replace something with a placeholder character in a two-step match and replace.

Was this limit increased in the latest version?

Yes, it was increased to approximately 15000 in version 4.0.1.0, which will be posted soon.
Please note that on Windows 7, the edit control does not behave correctly with very long text. On Windows 10 and 11, everything works correctly based on our tests.
