Detach Renaming Criteria still leaves it in main window?

Press F12 to get the renaming criteria window - but the main window stays the same so I have two areas of renaming criteria (changing a value in one updates the other too). I expect the main window "renaming" section to disappear to free up space.

I'm thinking this might be a bug as the screenshot on https://www.bulkrenameutility.co.uk/Whatsnew.php looks ok.

I'm Windows 10 and have it in dark mode.

Maybe you need two actions; like F9 + F12.

I didn't quite get what you meant at first, but looking for something else I saw it in the docs too:

F9 is a shortcut for:

Display Options > List > Maximise File List which hides the criteria window

also handy for people trying to get a bit more screen space back (I think I'll leave this one on):

Display Options > List > Expand File List hides a couple of boxes: Copy/Move To Location (13) and Special (14) and expands the file list up to cover that big "Bulk Rename Utility" header bar.
