(1) Since it's difficult to find people running 800x600 resolution anymore, why not standardize the next major version of BRU on 1024x768 resolution?

(2) Don't implement tabs unless: you want to hide the RegEx section behind the Replace section in one tab only. That would save space if you need more, and though I would not know, I would guess the vast number of renaming actions occur simply using the replace boxes over the RegEx feature.

(3) Finally, remove the "Subscribe to mailing list" tip from the Tip of the Day box and replace with a note about the new forum. You're right — the forum is far more efficient.

Hi,

Many thanks for the suggestions. Do you really think I can get away with changing to 1024x768? I would really, really, REALLY love to do that!

Perhaps I should make the next release of BRU the final release at 800x600, and then make future versions work at 1024x768? Would that alienate lots of my userbase? I don't know, perhaps they can comments.

Mailing List - yep, forgot that oe. Well done!

I like the idea of a higher resolution as well.
Maybe run a survey on the site asking for input, pro or con

How about sizing the main window for 1024x768 but enabling
scolling?

800x600 users might have to scroll but others not.

I, for one, could live with that (stuck at 800x600, but not by choice).

I haven't used 800x600 in years. Agree with the suggestion to move up resolution-wise.
