More Date Reformatting

Postby mjlacore » Sun May 30, 2021 1:13 pm

Please excuse me if the answer to my issue is found elsewhere; I have been unable to find a solution to my specific issue.

When I import RAW files from my camera into Lightroom, I have it set to make copies of the original RAW files. When it does so, it creates a folder with a name like (using today's date) "Imported on Sunday, May 30, 2021". It's a really unhelpful name format, and I want to use BRU to change those folder names to the format "Imported on 2021-05-30" so that the import folders all sort chronologically. But I am not knowledgeable enough in REGEX to capture that whole date, with the day of the week in it, and convert it to the desired file format. No other post I have found here on the forum appears to relate to converting this unhelpful date format.

Thanks for any help. I'm a little weary of changing them all by hand, and I have many yet to change.

It depends on your text-format for the months, this an example converting some month abbreviations...
