XMP support? Getting face tags from Picasa files

Hi everyone, does BRU support grabbing XMP metadata to write it to files?
Picasa saves XMP data into the JPG, but I can't find a way to extract that to rename the file(s).
If I look at the file with EXIFTOOL I see under XMP that there is a field called RegionsRegionListName which can be there multiple times, and each time it will have the name of the tagged face; could have 0 entries, or 6 entries. I'm looking at grabbing those and appending them one after the other to the file name; is this possible?

Any help would be appreciated
