Mass renaming while maintaining different numbering.

There are 2000 folders containing txt and images of different quantities and formats with numbering, for example:
folder A
folder A contains 2006 images with numbers at the end of the name from 1 to 2006 and two text documents with information about the folder.
folder B contains 2 images with numbers at the end of the name from 1 to 2 and two text documents with information about the folder.
How can I remove any names and special characters from all images while preserving the image numbers and not touching the names of text information files or the folder name?

Filters (12):
*.jpg *. png etc will limit it to image files, leaving out any text files.

Remove (5):
Sym. - removes commas, dashes, etc
Chars - removes text
D/S and Trim - removes extraneous spaces

This won't help because the numbers appear in the names.

but all page numbers have the "_" symbol in front of them? so

Filters (12) blocks adding folders

Oh no, I didn't see the folder/file selection type setting, but even with it there are two problems:
1. the path length in 90% of cases gives a rename error
2. the program does not remember the settings and does not display webp images from more than one folder at a time until I reboot it
