Bulk Rename Utility

I want to get a list of the current names of all files that would lead to duplicates with the current rename settings. Is this possible?

I currently copy from Preview and filter by a distinctive Prevent Dups pattern, but would prefer more direct.

I do not think there is another way, e.g. the preview window will tell you if there are duplicates but not exactly which ones (it shows the new name in the new name column and it can be sorted).
Exporting to Excel or other to check seems the correct way to do this.

OK. Thanks. An option for "New name" to show the post-dedup name would be good.

FYI because the deduplication happens across all the file names that are selected for renaming , the dedup names are only shown in the preview window.

This could be done in the Preview window by marking file names that would need deduplication according to current renaming criteria

Understood, but my point was I don't see how "the deduplication happens across all the file names that are selected for renaming" means "the dedup names are only shown in the preview window."
