renaming files to match sub dir. name

Hi Guys,

I have a bunch of folders and inside each folder is a file called airwolf.lay now i've got BRU to list all of these files into the gui and it lists all of their sub folders just fine. Now what I would like to do is to name each airwolf.lay to "name of sub dir".lay
I've read through the documentation and I've clicked around quite a bit and I don't see a way of doing this, but im guessing there has to be a way....
