Hi

have tried really hard but have failed to figure out a RegEx string to change filenames to email addresses. i have got so far but stuck on keeping 1st inital, delete rest of 1st word and the space and keep the rest of the filename.

barryjones@email.com.jpg >> bjones@email.com.jpg
catherineframptonwillis@email.com.jpg >> cframptonwillis@email.com.jpg

At least in what you've posted, I'm not seeing a "1st word" and a space?

What the "words are in "barryjones" & "catherineframptonwillis" is ambiguous.
Who is to say the first name is not "bar" with a last name of "ryjones"?

If there is in fact something to differential "words", that's a different matter.
So if its "barry.jones" or "catherineframpton.willis", then you can do something with that.
