"Help with changing filename" is an really clever and unambiguous subject for an topic in an file rename forum.

So for example picture 480 are the pictures taken before the wedding and 001 are at the end.
I've been playing around with the software but I am not sure how to reverse the numbers around so picture 480 appears as 001, 479 as 002 etc. If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it.
Hi sev,
Basically:
1* make an copy of your file and put them away in case something goes wrong.
2* add your files to BRU
001
002
...
480
3* click on the header of the "Name" column to sort up-side down
480
479
478
...
002
001
4* remove the digits (how depends on your file names, you didn't have provide examples)
Maybe the simple way to just remove last n chars will help?
5* do an new Numbering, e.g. Start:1, as suffix, pad:3
6* select on or more files to see in the "NewName" column how the new name will be
If you are satisfied, rename.
Done.
HTH?
Find me: Exchange the counter between filenames, from last to first and vice versa. Tradeoff reorder numbering, last to first, first to last
