Extremely slow start up with Vista

I tried the mapping - no effect. However - by going through things in my system tray one by one it would appear it is something to do with my bluetooth application ?!!! if I turn off bluetooth so that my bluetooth icon goes gray the BRU starts up in the time I would expect.And stragly as it does the bluetooth icon turns blue again. However after then BRU seems to start in a reasonable time.

Very odd indeed, and there's certainly no code in BRU for Bluetooth, I wouldn't know where to start!

I have slowtooth on my laptop and don't have that problem, but perhaps you and I have got different slowtooth features enabled. I use mine purely for Nokia PC Suite and nothing else.

I use mine for Nokia PC suit and syncing contacts etc. I'm using bluetooth software that came with my dongle from Blue Soliel. It must be something odd that they are doing. I may see if I can get a new Bluetooth dongle.

Did anyone ever figure this out? I have the same problem on Windows 7 / 64-bit. It can take a minute or two before the BRU window appears after it is started. It's a very fast machine otherwise. I have Bluetooth disabled for testing; makes no difference. I do not see particularly high CPU or disk activity while I'm waiting for BRU to start.

Using the latest version of BRU / 64-bit.
