Bulk Rename Utility

I've been in the habit of using BRU to prefix my photos with the date and time they were taken, using the Taken option. But I've just found that this no longer appears to work (in 2.2.7.0). That option is not resulting in any name change. A temporary work around, providing I use it on the files immediately they are transferred from my camera, is to use Creation instead of Taken. Anyone else have same problem please?

Just had an impressively fast email response from Jim Willsher. I hadn't realised (or had forgotten!) the existence of the option 'Extract Exif data'. Previously it must have been On by default, but had somehow got switched Off. Happily, the Taken option now works fine!
