Can Not Copy to Root Directroy

Postby pinkp8ther » Tue Oct 12, 2010 8:49 pm

When I try to Copy/Move MP3 files from my laptop hard drive to the root directory of an SD Card; I get the following error "E:\ is not a valid folder - please correct or clear."

Running BRU 2,7,1,2.

Any help would be appreciated,
Larry

Can anybody else reproduce this error; or am I the only one seeing this?

TIA,

Hmm the only thing I have close to an SD card is a Flash drive in the USB port...

However, I am also getting this same error, i did a test on some random text file... but when I created a subfolder, it worked perfectly. It seems this software is not exactly supported for placing files within the root folder of any Drive, Hard drive, Flash drive, network drive, sd card, external hard drive. Because I just tried it on an External Hard Drive that I assigned to letter F.

New Location(13)
Path -> "F:\"

"F:\ is not a valid Folder - please correct or clear."

DefAnt,

Thanks for confirming that this is reproducible and that I wasn't overlooking something. :D

Thanks,
