My case:
I have a Folder of around 500 files (not only one Folder
) and i want to number them with prefix for 10 files each the same, automatically of course.original names --> wanted names
1024153719262_00_01.jpg --> 207-01.jpg
1024153719262_01_02.jpg --> 207-02.jpg
1024153719262_02_03.jpg --> 207-03.jpg
1024153719262_03_04.jpg --> 207-04.jpg
1024153719262_04_05.jpg --> 207-05.jpg
1024153719262_05_06.jpg --> 207-06.jpg
1024153719262_06_07.jpg --> 207-07.jpg
1024153719262_07_08.jpg --> 207-08.jpg
1024153719262_08_09.jpg --> 207-09.jpg
1024153719262_09_10.jpg --> 207-10.jpg
1024153940422_00_01.jpg --> 208-01.jpg
1024153940422_01_02.jpg --> 208-02.jpg
...
I've tried it for hours but it seems to be impossible. Or maybe i am blind?
Note: there is no guarantee of changing characters in a position evey 10th filename, so no chance with -break-.
