I only get files No Documents

I am almost sure this has been addressed here some place but I can't find it. AND I'M ABOUT TO FREAK OUT! I'm on a stupid dead line here at work and my MOST useful program isn't being nice to me!! I think it most likely has something to do with the new verison I down loaded buit now I can't get the old one back. I was reading about the BRU HERE setting's and it's over my head.. I hate to admit that... I need help!! PLEASE!! I tried downloading an earlier version and it reverts back to the new one.. I wonder if some nice person out there would like to send me their file? PLEASE I AM BEGGING HERE!!
