Retain Autonumber from session to session

I will be processing manufacturer product images from time to time. I have created a "*.bru" file for each of my manufacturers, applying custom prefixes and suffixes for each. I am using autonumber as part of the rename process (Padding of 6 and Increment of 1). I may process 600 images today, meaning that my autonumbering would run from 000001 to 000601. If I process more images from this manufacturer next week, I would like it to start the autonumbering at 000602. Is there a way to accomplish this automatically within BRU?
