Possible to rename Numbers going downwards?

Hi guys,

I came across this utility and it seems very powerful. Unfortunately, I cannot figure out how to use it.

Can someone please help me?

Basically I have TIFF files in one folder that start from 005.tif to 180.tif.

I need to start the numbering from 001. So basically 005 should be 001 and 180 will be 175. I hope this makes sense.

Would BRU be able to do this?

Hi jackk, try this and tell us how it works:

- make an backup of your files

- open BRU
- browse to your files
- select them (Ctrl+A)

>> remove 005
- File(2) Name: [Remove]

>> add 001
- Numbering(10): Mode: Prefix; Start: 1; Pad: 3

If the preview looks fine click at rename.
