How do I re-number?????

I am a pretty savvy computer user and cant figure out how to renumber.

I have 5 days of depositions I converted from PDF to TIff. Every day is LABELED page 1-250.

I want day 1 to be 1-250.
Day 2 251-500
Day 3 501 to 999

So change the tiff FROM
TT001
TT002
TT003

TO
TT304
TT305
TT306

The numbering section (10) only lets you add a prefix, suffix etc. I cant figure out how to get the program to renumber that folder starting with 287. (I see where I can "start" at 287..but not how to engage the program to actually rename.

PS. I have been "highlighting" the group to "activate". (shift click). So its not anything likr that.

Sorry, i don't understood your rules.

What i can guess from your post let me to this hints:
* There is no automatic switch on folder change. Only set and rename that what you see.
* There is no "renumber" action. Only: 1.) remove old number. 2.) Add new number.
