Bulk Rename Utility

Hello,

I was trying to figure out how to rename my files, but no success.

So I have a library with nice subfolder names and messy file names. it looks like this: books>author - title> messy file name.mobi
I want to change it all to books>author - title>author - title.mobi

I can do it one subfolder after another, but if I select all folders it wants to rename subfolders to books. How to select multiple subfolders and rename the files in them and not the subfolders? Or is it not possible?

Add your top-most folder
and check
Selections(12)
[X]Subfolders

Use
File(2) Remove
and
Append Folder Name(9)

Display files within SubDir's: Check #12-Files and Subfolders
Do not display Directories: Uncheck #12-Folders (no display=no rename)

Hello, I trying similar thing but I need to rename subfolder with the only first part of the folder name example:
folder: 12345 Smith John 1.1.1900
subfolder: 12345

How do I get there? The solution here is giving me the full name of the folder - 12345 Smith John 1.1.1900
