Can't save special characters in BRU templates

This may be minor/easy to fix or not - I'm not sure. But I thought I'd request it to see.

However, BRU can't save some special character(s) in a saved template. The character I primarily use most is the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interpunct character. BRU saves the character as a ?
