Numbering problem!

I am trying to renumber 900 jpg files too match another file the numbers between the two were 3 off the starting number would be port_00001.jpg I can't seem to get it done with one operation and if I run the program twice it duplicates some files while deleting others. an suggestions?

The simplest option is to remove the number altogether and regenerate it using Autonumber.
Remember that the files are renamed from top to bottom, so you might want to reverse the sort order and count DOWNWARDS (to avoid clashes when renaming 1 to 2, 2 to 3 etc). Or you can tick the "rename in reverse order" option.
