Time saving for my thesis

Hello,

I've got a slight problem with the program that I've got to use to record data for my thesis. Essentially what I am doing is either recording video or taking images of a sample deforming to calculate the strain ( the technique is called DIC if you're interested).

My problem is that the post-processing of the video takes a LONG time, and to save time I've been advised to take stills and then stitch them together to get a more compact video to process. The problem in this is that when taking stills the software will save each file as 'B00001_Live Image' in separate folders when I need them to be named sequentially in the same folder (B00001_Live Image,B00002_Live Image etc...).

Is there a way to do this within BTU?!?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks

Tom

Hello:

Yes, Try:

-(12) Selection:
Tick:
-Sub folders
-files

-(13) New location:
Point to a folder of your choice.

Last you'll have to change the name in some way for it to move files, so maybe add a counter to the end with (10) Numbering. (You can go back and remove this afterwards.)

Double check settings and the new names, then Press Rename
