Thank you for your response and support.
No. If and which files are listed varies randomly.
Examples:
A. If I select a folder containing 10 hidden + 10 not hidden files, there may be listed:
- Only the 10 not hidden files
- The 10 non hidden and some of the hidden files
- Both the 10 non hidden and all 10 hidden files
If I refresh (Action/Refresh Files or F5 or by reselecting the folder after clicking on another one on the left tree pane or by closing/restarting BRU) the listing may be the same as previously or of any of the pre-mentioned listed file combinations.
In other words, all of the hidden files may be listed properly at once without any refreshing, or I may have been repeating refreshing for 20 times or more without having some or all of them showing up.
B. The same goes for folders containing only hidden files.
C. After selecting or after each refreshing of a folder with e.g. 1000 hidden + 1000 not hidden files in various hidden and not hidden subfolders and having Filters/Subfolders box checked:
A different-random number of files is mostly listed: e.g. 1300, 1450, 1570, 1610 of them.
In this case, if I would like to rename all those 2000 files, using the otherwise great BRU, I?d have to refresh many, many times selecting and renaming each time the not previously listed, unrenamed hidden ones. And after that, I would have to manually (folder by folder) check, using Windows Explorer, for any still unrenamed hidden files.
Hidden folders are always visible and “grayed out” (as they should be) in the left tree pane.
Thank you.
