Can BRU rename files within folders

Attempting to simultaneously rename file extensions within multiple folders proves a challenge.
Is the operation within BRU's capabilities? Is it possible to select multiple folders (or alternatively a single folder containing multiple subfolders) in order for all files within those folders to have their extensions renamed?
