still working on it so just going to ramble...

XP & Win7 have different behaviors

XP, there is a "refresh", flash, or two - of BRU
but if I'm recalling, other then that, all acted as expected

Win7, I use MPUI as GUI front-end to MPlayer
there is at the least - a hang, on the close of MPUI (leaving a ghost) for a time
issue presents itself not solely on context-menu, Open, of a video file, but also
on, & I'm not quite sure what I did, but I was dragging 3 video files into BRU, &
not sure, maybe I didn't drag them cleanly or something, but instead of loading
into BRU, to rename, they ended up opening, all three, & on close, was left
with a hang/ghost

with MPUI/MPlayer you may be more apt to see the issue compared to with
some other media player, say MPC-HC

looking back at BRU 3.1.0.0, I don't see the issue.
note that with 3.1.0.0, you could double-click on a video file, & it would open
in the default media player (MPUI on my end)

with 3.2.0.1, behavior was changed, & now a double-click, oh I guess i should
say, "clicking into" the name, opens up inline rename - sort of, mostly, er,
sometimes (& sometimes it acts as a double-click, opening the video, IOW,
not exactly consistent, & may be timing related)

might have to do with "resources" (being used up)
i have seen similar, where MPUI falters, after Mozilla FF/SeaMonkey have
eaten lots >= ~4GB of RAM (I usually have them open & may be a contributing
factor)
