Bulk Rename Utility

Hello:

I would like the program to keep the umlauts, etc. for the output. My text file is correct with the umlauts, but BRU will not accept them, when I try to rename.

This is the text file:

6 Songs For Voice & Piano 'An Die Ferne Geliebte', Op.98 - 1. Auf Dem Hügel Sitz Ich Spähend In E Flat

This is the output when renamed:

6 Songs For Voice & Piano 'An Die Ferne Geliebte', Op.98 - 1. Auf Dem Hügel Sitz Ich Spähend In E Flat

renaming produces:

6 Songs For Voice & Piano 'An Die Ferne Geliebte', Op.98 - 1. Auf Dem Hügel Sitz Ich Spähend In E Flat.mp3

ü renames to ü

ä renames to ä

The text file is correct (it handles the special characters with no trouble).

Hope you can figure something out, it is very frustrating. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Bulk Rename Utility will read ANSI and Unicode (UTF-16) text files.
Make sure your text file to import is saved as UTF-16 then import in BRU.
You can preview the imported list using "View Import-Rename pairs" to make sure all characters have been imported correctly.
