Bulk Rename Utility

Hi,

I have been using BRU for a while now, but i keep coming up with an error trying to rename files using a custom autodate %Y%m%d_%H%m%S, using the 'Taken Original' field.

I only use the remove (5). Auto Date (8) fields

The new Name is off by 30 minutes.

For example

Taken Original 30/12/2006 11:56:47
New Name 20061230_111247.jpg

The new name is exactly 30 minutes earlier

The created, Modified, accessed fields are all identical. 30/12/2006 11:56:47

I cant find anything in the exif data.

This has made me struggle for a long time.

If it's 30 minutes, wouldn't it be

112647 ?

Sorry, but you pointing out my error in maths does nothing to help me with my solution. Why even comment?

Nothing to do with a math error.
It simply then begs the question, is the "exactly 30 minutes" correct?

Without asking don't know if it is a math error, or a typo, or something else going on?

Where are you, or what do you have your Time Zone set to?
(Some areas have 30 or 45 minute difference, Half Hour and 45-Minute Time Zones.)

I am +7 GMT. Never have any of the photos been taken in any time zone that has a +x.30 time zone.

I have gone through the exif data and don't find any other time references other than in the standard fields that are in BRU.

I have 50k+ photos. It does it to some and not all.

Can you upload (somewhere) a sample file that shows this issue?
(Actually, one that does, & one that does not have the issue would be better.)
