Leave renamed file copy and original in folder

Help will be greatly appreciated.
I have music files in folders with cover art in jpg format.
Hierarchy is (Music) - (Artist) - (Album 1, 2 etc.) - (.flac files and "various names.jpg")
I want to automatically copy each "various names.jpg" in all folders
and name each copy "folder.jpg" leaving the original and the renamed copy in their original folder.
Can this be done? I have spent a fair amount of time trying to figure out how, but have
not been successful.

Create a batch file to loop through the directory tree, copying any .jpg found, in place, to "folder.jpg".

(Otherwise, I know a way [with other software].
And kind of requires a top-most directory with individual subdirectories within [or subs to the sub].

In that example, I happen to have more then 1 .jpg in particular directories.
