Import Rename-Pairs [No Popup]

Hi

Firstly, fantastic product.
Been using this for many years

Bizarre problem:
When selecting the "Action - Import Rename-Pairs" feature, no pop up window appears
This is essential in order to select the text file for renaming files
The files / folders are on a local hard drive

The issue does not exist on a different PC running the same operating system (Win8.1).
It selects the same folder & text file but is accessing it over the LAN.
So it appears to be a local issue / settings for the fix.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Greetings! Please to look inside of "Bulk Rename Utility.ini" and then to seek for "Rename Pairs Path=". If not already its like Rename Pairs Path="" then maybe its like Rename Pairs Path="/bad/" and the other computer not can finds the bad path, so then popup not presents to the screen ?? If you like to change please exit the Bulk Rename Utility, because it likes to forbid the changes for itself.

That was the error.
Thank you for the fix
The specified folder path was deleted, so as it couldn't find that path no popup window opened.

Is there a way to add a default path should the previous path be deleted?
Or is there a way for the program not to remember the last "Rename Pairs Path="?

Greetings. Sorry Im not expert to make it forget, except to make it back like the default....
Code: Select all
Rename Pairs Path=""
This makes popup go back to the desktop. Im think its good idea, this to be automatic when it cannot find the path.

Hi, this is a bug, we will verify and fix it for the next release, if the path is not found it should open to the desktop or other location.... thanks for reporting this
