Bulk Rename Utility

Hi. Getting very frustrated. I have a folder of jpg photos, and I want to rename them with the description and date, both of which show in the metadata. In Box 7, Prefix, I have entered "<(exif:ImageDescription)-($exif:DateTimeOriginal)>", and box 8 date format DMY. The main window shows all files renames correctly. However, when I push 'Rename' I get "Error: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect" and it will not rename them. I have tried removing the date, but it makes no difference. I know that I am probably missing something very obvious, but any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

Its unfortunate, but this error doesnt come from any of your settings.. Its because the windows api cannot access those files for renaming.
Sometimes its because of an illegal character somewhere inside of the full-path to your filenames, but there can also be other reasons.
