renamed photoshop jpgs are blank

I've renamed a set of Photoshop worked .jpgs but the result is a blank File. If I "Inspect" the photo, the Photoshop symbol is not there just a blank file symbol. Can I recover these and start again?
I could send an example if that would help.

Can you link to a sample file (before renaming).
What settings did you use to accomplish the rename?

These are the two forms

and [https://pasteboard.co/C5tKZMba94Fw.jpg][/url] as it should be with Photoshop details and photo attached.

I'm no expert so here's what I did.
Method:
at Add7 = TRE
Name 2 = Remove
Numbering = Suffix
Start number= 1234
Increase by=1
Extension = remove
Check preview then hit Go.

The system seems to allow just one photo per post so here's the correct example of the completed correct rename =

Hi,
Extension = remove
would remove the
jpg extension from the files and make the files unrecognizable: if you add the jpg extension back you will be fine.
