Bulk Rename Utility

Hello

I'm trying to rename some files, and I drag and drop them from windows explorer.

I can see that some of the files I selected don't appear on Bulk Rename Utility window.
I've searched for it on the internet, but could only find that the files were hidden or the filters (12) were wrong.

The files aren't hidden, I've checked and the filter only have files and folders checked and * on the mask field.

It has happened in the past but never bothered to try and fixe it

Using the windows properties I cannot see any difference.
The ones I'm having trouble now have all the same name except for the sequence number, short file names with 27 Characters.
I've shortened the size of the path to the files and restarted the BRU, but the problem remains

Owner or permissions issue perhaps?

Can you open the file in, say, Notepad?

Are the files on a local drive?

No, I've checked, the files are on a nas and the permissions are all the same.

Can't open with notepad, they are mkv, but I can manually renamed them

I've also copied them to another location and I get the same result
