Timestamps in log file in UTC, not system time

Just started using the log file again since I realized I can specify the file location since the july (i think) release, which is great.

OTOH, the time stamps in the log appear to be in UTC rather than my system time (ET, currently UTC-4). So for example the log has 10/2/2022 7:25:25 PM when the actual local time was 3:25:25 PM. Is this a designed feature? Or is there a setting I can check/correct to cahnge this behavior.

PS: If a design feature, I'd love to see at least an option to use system time instead of UTC.
