Even though it does not display as removed, further actions do in fact affect the file with the Name Removed.

I suppose this is an oddity more then anything else.
Where in New Name, you wouldn't expect to see "anything" (with only 2:Name -> Remove in effect).
Likewise, there is no color change to indicate (at that point) that the name will in fact be changed.
(But then, if the Name was removed, so New Name was "", there also would be no way to color that
.[Though you could have some sort of indicator in the New Name field to clue you in that something will happen.])
