Rename option does not work when files are selected

I would like to change the name of selected files by replacing ".JPG" with "%.JPG". I tried to do this by entering ".JPG" in the Replace text box in the Replace(3) group (which I checked) and "%.JPG" in the With box and selecting files to process. At the bottom of the screen, 60 files are shown as selected but the Rename button remains disabled. The button becomes enabled if I select Add, Remove, or AutoDate and specify some value foe each of these. I am using BRU 3.4.4.0 on Windows 11

Replace(3) wont see .JPG without a checkmark for "Renaming Options, File/Folder Extensions, Rename File Extensions".
Could also use a "Replace" like \end\.JPG in case there might be more than one .JPG inside of the filenames.
