Renaming 20230512_203636.mp4 to 2023-05-12.20-36-36.mp4

Hi all,

Totally noob question coming up. I did try to look through the pdf manuals, but I guess my head is not screwed on right for this kind of challenge.... :-(

I have been renaming one "add" function at a time for a while now, but I would really like to do the whole "adding" (of four hyphens and a full stop) in one fell swoop.

So, how do I rename "20230512_203636.mp4" to "2023-05-12.20-36-36.mp4"?

- And can I save that function as a favourite, so I can always re-use it?

Thanks a lot for any help!

BR,

YYYYMMDD_hhmmss.mp4 ---> YYYY-MM-DD.hh-mm-ss.mp4

With RegEx(1) having a checkmark for Inc.Ext., the "Match" and "Replace" can be like...
^(20\d\d)(0[1-9]|[12]\d|3[01])(0[1-9]|[1-3]\d)_(\d\d)(\d\d)(\d\d)\.mp4$
\1-\2-\3.\4-\5-\6

To save the active settings, can click the menu "File, Save" then choose a descriptive name.
Then can always click the menu "File, Open" to choose any of your saved settting-files.
