Is it expected 8:Auto-Date, Custom, ignores Sep. ?

Is it expected that if you set, 8:Auto Date, Fmt: Custom, that any Sep. is ignored?

(I'll guess, probably yes ?, cause Custom comes later, sequentially, through the list of Auto Date settings, so takes precedence over [some of] them.

But then, viewtopic.php?f=12&t=6777, so that would mean that while say Sep. of "-" is ignored, Sep. of "\" is not?)

Ah, so Fmt: Custom also causes \ to not work when used as linked above.

Hi, when using the custom date format in AutoDate (8), the Sep and Seg entries are ignored as any segmentation or separation character can be entered in the customer format itself.
For instance using custom format %m\ as prefix will prepend the month number plus a \ so it becomes a folder. You can enter whole text as well in the custom format: a custom value of "Created on %a, %d %B, %Y" gets converted to "Created on Tuesday, 25th March, 2024".
