BRU not displaying correct Date Taken for TIF Files

When looking at TIF files, the Date Taken (Original) displayed is wrong, displaying the Date Modified instead. When using the "change filestamps" and updating date created from Date Taken (Original) it is taking the correct date so renaming works, just that the filelist in the overview screen is wrong.

What does Windows Explorer, Properties, show for the Date Taken for said file?

the "correct" date taken that is visible in exiftool also for other date taken (XMP/EXIF) dates. It is only the BRU listview, column "Taken (Original) that shows what seems to be the "date modified" value (from windows explorer listview)

to clarify, I use version 4.0.0.5 I believe it has been like this since version 4.0 release

and it is only for TIF/TIFF files, not for JPG/JPEG files.

I pulled a sample tif, & BRU was not reading <($exif:DateTime)> nor <(exif:Make)>, both of which do exist, where it did see same (from a different .jpg).

Windows Explorer likewise see's (what it calls) "Date taken" & "Camera maker".


So it does look like a bug in BRU, at least with some files.
