Is there a way to change "Date Taken" Exif meta data values?

I want to be able to change the Date Taken meta data values for a bunch of photos in a folder.
I do not want to change the created, modified, or accessed dates. Only Date Taken.
I know ExifTool does this. Thats not what I am asking.
Can Bulk Rename Utility do this?
I have version 4.0.0.5.
If it can. Its not clear how to do this. Can someone share instructions?

In "Change File Timestamps" you can set the option "Exif Date Taken (Original) / Item Date set to" Date Created or Date Modified.

BRU can read & use metadata within a file - in order to rename a file name.

But it cannot change the actual metadata within a file.

Hi, there is one exception atm: BRU can change the "Exif Date Taken (Original) / Item Date" based on created or modified timestamp.
