No settings set except what come out of the box (out of the zip).
That is incorrect.
I think you're on to something.
I didn't even realize that some of the settings were being set (in versions >4003) "automatically".
I was thinking (incorrectly) that I'll throw the sets of (BRU) files (from the .ZIP's) into a new directories & run BRU (in each, separately) & that would be a "clean" run. But it is not. 4004 & up do pull data (settings). And it happened that the last time I used BRU (I must have been messing with something that came up here in the forums), & in #12:, Condition was being set to,
name == 'gsmart'.
And with that, yes, dragging a file into BRU crashes it.
With 4003, that opened "cleanly", did not automatically preset #12:, Condition, though if I do throw something in there, say,
x = y, & then drag a file into BRU, it too then crashes.
(Oh, & the other Win7 systems I looked, either never had BRU on them, or if they did, #12: Condition was not being used, so I did not crash on those other systems.)
So what, 4004 & up is reading the Windows Registry & pulling /BRU.../Recent Entries/ID_1207/ & pre-filling that on startup, where 4003 did not?
