Folders Bulk Rename from File

Unable bulk rename from text file to folders but it works on files. Filters (12) - Filters, Files selected

I would appreciate if someone advise/point me how to do it.

Thanks, these 2 entries would not rename the folders, but just the 2 files.

Can you elaborate on this, please. What’s the logic/conditions for bulk renaming folders from text file? I couldn’t find the details in manual. Apparently there are differences in renaming logic between files and folders. Is this a program bug?

2_2.pdf|test__2.pdf

is setting

1_1.pdf to test__1.pdf
2_2.pdf to test__2.pdf

but nothing is set for the folders.

I just realised that to rename folders I need to ditch the files extensions .pdf
It was so obvious and somehow slipped from my attention.
