Just wanting to say thanks for a great utility which is easy to understand.
I'm a 77 year old man. I have been collecting music for over 60 years in a variety of formats. Initially it grew over the years from vinyl, to tape, to DVD's and eventually to hdd's and - more recently - to SSD's My collection is now more than 80,000 tracks. The one thing that's troubled me most is the track numbering on many of these.
I'm reasonably competent with technology and play all my music digitally these days. I only really want the song's name, and the artist without any additional information.
I've tried numerous apps in attempts to easily remove track numbers and other unwanted & unnecessary info and found most of them wanting or overly complex.
I discovered your "Bulk Rename Utility" a few months ago and it does exactly what I want and more.
