Bulk Rename Utility

I was wondering if I can use BRU to take the file name in the "general tab" (under properties) and use that name to rename the Title in the "details tab"????

BRU only renames the file names.

I am looking for a program to copy the file names of .mp3 files into the files Properties > Details > Title

The FAQ says :
Does the program support MP3 ID3 tags?
Yes, it supports V1 tags for Artist, Album and Title.

The response to this post implies that BRU does not do this.
Can you clarify?

BRU can read such data and use this for renaming.


To set those data (to see it in details tab) you have to modify the meta data of your MP3 files. Use an ID3- / MP3- Tagging tool.
For example "TagScanner" from "www - xdlab.ru/en/"
