Bulk Rename Utility

I use BRU quite extensively to copy the same file from mulitple locations (sub-directories from a parent directory) and rename for use elsewhere (importation into spreadsheet or database).

It takes a long time to scan the various sub-directories yet I can find the files much much faster using the Windows explorer find (but cannot rename them when copying).

Is there any way to speed up a search/scan operation?
