just updated...need help

I remember using this a year ago and it was pretty str8 forward. select, rename and boom.
i was prompterd to update and now i'm totally lost lol.

1. when i drag and drop my files or navigate to them and try to select "rename" it tells me nothing is selected
2. is there something else that needs to be done now to do a simple rename of gopro clips?
3. is there a tutorial for version 4.0.0.6? i'm a little lost

i literally use to drag, drop, click rename...
i previously didnt have to change anything

if i want to rename gopro clips just to be more organized and be alphabetically. what criterias would i need?

yea. everything was cleared actually.

now when i select them or at min select "folders" and "files" then try to click on a file in the window it crashes

What type files are you selecting that cause the crash?
Do you have the picture viewer enabled?
Could you send an example file that is crashing BRU via e-mail?

is there a forum where ppl share their presets?

i'm trying to create one where it adds "_x" as a suffix and increases in numbering, which i accomplished

however i'm trying to have it do it for each diffeerent file extension within the same folder

examples

ABC123_1.mp4
ABC123_2.mp4
ABC123_3.mp4
ABC123_1.wav

as of right now it just continues across all extensions
example

ABC123_1.mp4
ABC123_2.mp4
ABC123_3.mp4
ABC123_4.wav

i'd like to group them by extension and just bulk rename them all

You could use Filters (12) to select files by extension and then rename each group with numbering.
