Rename Files in Sub-Folders [Numbering]

Postby Uriel » Thu Mar 17, 2011 1:44 am

I have a folder with subfolders within it, some of those contain other sets of folders.
Is there a way to rename all the files within the folders in ascending numbers?

Like 1 X.jpg, 2 x.jpg, etc without having to go into each new subfolder and starting the number count on the last number of the previous set I numbered?

Probably sound a little confusing, I could try to clarify if someone thinks there is a way.

Nvm, I believe a figured out a way.

I'm displaying all subfolder directories, but only the files.
Sort by Subdirectory path and make sure to rename the subdirectories in the order I want the files to be considered.
Been trying for like a month, of course as soon as I make a post I fix it myself like 5 minutes after.
